How does it work?

Global Reporters for the Caribbean can find reporters and other media practitioners in most Caribbean countries, though not all.To be paired with a reporter or other media practitioner:

1. Fill in our questionnaire. We will contact you as soon as possible with a match.

2. Once the match understands the assignment and accepts the job you will be introduced and the reporter will get to work as quickly as possible. In breaking news situations, the reporter will activate immediately. Sometimes within minutes.

3. However, you will still follow the next step which is to be sent a contract by Global Reporters for the Caribbean (GRC). Please sign, date and return it

4. Reporter activates and submits the requirements of the job.

5. Once the reporter is finished with the assignment, you will pay GRC through bank transfer or by credit card.

6. GRC's fee starts at US$200.00, which includes insurance for the reporter or media practitioner for one (1) day. Bigger projects could require significantly higher fees, for example crews coming to the Caribbean that need fixers and some production coordination.

2 - Meet your match

Once the match understands the assignment and accepts the job you will be introduced and the reporter or other media practitioner will get to work as quickly as possible. In breaking news situations, the reporter or other media practitioner will activate immediately — sometimes within minutes.

3 - Sign contract

You will still follow the next step which is to be sent a contract by Global Reporters for the Caribbean (GRC). Please sign, date and return it.

4 - Practitioner activates

Reporter or other media practitioner activates and submits the requirements of the job.

5 - Pay

Once the reporter or other media practitioner is finished with the assignment, you will pay GRC through bank transfer or by credit card.
